The Havfélög (HAHV‑FAY‑LOG or sea companies in English) are three northern European corporations which operate for profit terrestrial navies and other oceanic services. Ný Varangia, BAE Nordsjø AS, and Saab-Constellis Naval were all created or spun off to legally supply and eventually operate United States naval assets rented to the Eurasian Bloc for protection starting from the Reset of Nations. Their most frequent contracts are for piracy protection (often from corporations such as the Metals Company with seafloor nodule collectors and subduction vent mines, or from countries without navies such as Argentinian Mancomunidad which operates many undersea colonies and aquaponic farms), integrity patrols for undersea vacuum train routes and fibre optic cables, and military retainer contracts for war gaming and submarine based ASAT capabilities.

The three companies have diversified into other oceanic services, with each specialising in a different area. Ný Varangia are known for sponsoring development of cutting edge technology, such as the first use of a Nexus biocoherence Neurogenesis device in 76 BFC to screen recruits for their elite marine fire teams, their implantation of respirocytes to increase endurance, and developing photovoltaic sails that capture both wind and sunlight. BAE Nordsjø co-develop and then provide security for many sea towers, such as the thermocline powered mid-atlantic casio resort and jet fuel depot, the first floating terrawatt scale DC in the Barents Sea, and mobile deep sea farms and lithium extraction mines off the coast of Brazil. Saab-Constellis have operated many island reclamation projects for near equatorial rocket sites and resorts, and also operate several sea based entertainment services such as floating museum tours.
